I believe art should be affordable and accessible

I’m Louise, owner and artist at my home-based studio in Cape Town. I paint and draw original illustrations using ink, watercolour and guache on soft bamboo or Fabriano paper. My designs are whimsical and expressive, inspired by the animals and places I love. I started my online shop in May 2020 as a way to share some of the brightness and joy I’ve found in immersing myself in creativity, and putting it on paper… As simple as that.

I support other local businesses, so my printing and framing is done in my local area as much as possible. I deliver locally in South Africa and internationally.
